Description
Bernard Lamotte traveled extensively and carefully recorded his observances in sketches and photographs, which provided the bases for his canvases. Good. There are scattered specks of in-paint in the sky, a few specks and short dashes in the lower left and lower center foreground, and fine separations in the paint layer at lower left, but these are stable and are mostly localized to the dark figure at the bottom.
