The scene captures an unusual vantage point looking down the stairway of Herrick Court to the waters of the Inner Harbor’s North Channel, with the hills of East Gloucester on the horizon.

Very good. The painting was recently cleaned and strip-lined. There is scattered very minor in-paint in the sky, in the wharf buildings upper left, in the white house and stairs, and in the lower right rocks.
