Francisco de Borja (Boe) Herraiz Garcia de Guadiana

Boe first joined Vose Galleries as Gallery Intern upon graduating from the American University in Washington, D.C. where he studied International Studies and Art History. As an intern, Boe assisted his colleagues with daily tasks, research inquiries, preparing marketing materials, and spearheaded the development of an exhibition titled, All but the Artist Rest.

In the fall of 2022, Boe graduated from the Warburg Institute, University of London with a master’s degree in Art History, Curatorship, and Renaissance Culture. At the Warburg Institute, Boe was the student representative for his master’s cohort, co-curated an exhibition dedicated to the work of Anthony Caro, and graduated with honors. Upon graduating, Boe worked as a Visitor Services Assistant at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum where he was awarded the Excellence in Customer Service award.

In his current role as Gallery Assistant, Boe oversees the daily operations of the gallery and provides essential support to the rest of the staff. In his free time, Boe enjoys playing pool, finding a place to eat, and discussing the ins and outs of the art world.
