Brumback’s large and dynamic canvas, Good Harbor Beach, Gloucester, embodies this straightforward approach to her subject. Her bold palette takes center stage, as sundrenched, particolored umbrellas pop against the clear blue stretches of the sky and water, drawing the viewer’s eyes to the various beachgoers reveling in the summer weather.
