Vose Galleries has proudly held solo shows of Liz Haywood-Sullivan’s work in 2007, 2011, and 2019, and opened a fourth solo exhibition demonstrating her sensitivity to the seasonal rhythms of the natural world in the summer of 2021. Grace of Day was included in our 2019 exhibit and inspired the following from the artist: “There are great rewards for the artist who gets up early to walk as the sun rises. Nighttime humidity becomes mist, altering the perception of distances in the tree groves. Details are lost imparting a temporary ethereal aspect to the landscape.”
